Everyday Makeup

Hey, pretty people! I've had a few people ask about how I do my everyday makeup and what products I use. I know a tutorial would be more ideal and I promise as soon as I start a youtube channel, I'll go ahead and post that as one of my first videos but for now I'll be sharing the products I use in the order I use them.

I'm not going to lie to y'all. I have tons of fancy cleansers in my shower and vanity but I really don't use them very often. These two products are my absolute favorites. To be honest, I use the Clean & Clear Morning Burst facial wash more than anything. I love that it not only cleans your face but also gives you a bit of a pick-me-up with citrus bursting beads. Normally, I'll only use the Glow Mud Cleanser by Pixi by Petra at the end of the day when I'm looking for the opposite effect.

My next step is to use my ring finger to apply this restore & renew eye cream by No 7. It's very important to use your ring finger because it will apply the least amount of pressure.

I LOVE this stuff. It's phenomenal. After I apply my eye cream I go ahead and apply a little bit of this (a little bit goes a long way) magical Maracuja Oil by Tarte to my face and d├ęcolletage area. The d├ęcolletage area is your neckline. It's crucial to use skincare products on this area because believe it or not, this is the area that shows the most aging.

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! I can't emphasize the importance of moisturizing enough. Your skin NEEDS it and trust me, it will thank you for it. My favorite moisturizer is this Blue Lotus Balancing Moisturizer from Purlisse.

My next move Is to fill in my brows. I do so using #12 Duo Brush and the Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown (or caramel depending on my hair color) from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I then finish it up with The Anastasia Beverly Hills clear eyebrow gel

I like to apply my eyeshadow before my primer and foundation so that if any of the powder gets in unwanted areas I can remove it without wasting product by having to reapply. I only use two of these colors to be honest. This is the Naked 2 palette from Urban Decay. I use the color "tease" on my eyelid and also in the crease but I combine "bootycall" with it in the crease area and then blend to give it some brightness. I then dab a little bit of the "bootycall" color on the inside of my eye on the bottom.

In the past I've used the photo perfect primer from Smashbox but I recently discovered this gem and am sold. I love how effective it is but it doesn't feel as oily and it's a much lighter product. This is the Urban Defense Complexion Primer from Urban Decay

If you've been following me for a while you probably know that I normally use Chanel foundation. However, I recently discovered this foundation and I really like it. At first, I second guessed it because it seemed like it was "orangey" but I soon realized less is more with this product. The amazing thing about this product is that it is hydrating and offers an oil-free SPF 25. Most foundations include SPF 15. I wear this Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow brightening makeup from Benefit in petal.

I use a damp beauty blender to apply my foundation.

Next I apply my eyeliner. Words couldn't possibly express how much I adore this Tarteist Double Take Eyeliner from Tarte. I use the velvety smooth twist up end for the top and bottom lines and then I use the liquid end to create my "wings." This liquid eyeliner is the BEST. It makes creating the perfect cat eye simple and it lasts all day/night without smudging the slightest bit. I've fallen asleep in it and woke up with flawless eyes. I was extremely impressed and will never purchase another eyeliner.

Before applying my mascara, I apply one coat of this Subversion Lash Primer by Urban Decay. This primer conditions your lashes and primes them allowing for perfect mascara application.

You guessed it! Next I apply my mascara. My current favorite is Troublemaker from Urban Decay. It's my favorite because I love having flash lashes but also love washing my face multiple times a day. This mascara gives the appearance of false lashes without the commitment or astronomical price tag of falsies.

Before applying my lip color, I apply this Color Reviver Balm by Dior. I love how light it is but it still offers plenty of hydration for my lips. Since I use it under color, I use the light pink with a satin finish.

This is the best lip color in my opinion. It lasts all day/night and is transfer proof for the most part. I have it in multiple colors but "bae" which is pictures here is my go-to. This is the Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint by Tarte

The final step is to spray your face with the All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray from Urban Decay. This company in particular sells multiple setting sprays and I've used them all and I've found that this one lasts the longest.

That's it, folks! If you have any recommendations for products that you love and can't live without feel free to tell me about them in the comments. Be sure to follow me on Snapchat and Instagram to stay up to date on the products that I use. The links to all of my social media can be found below.
